The library is located on the ground floor of the main school building and accommodates both high school and sixth-form education. Please speak to the librarian for more information on how the library can support your education.
The College has full access to the online resource sites Gale Literature Resource Centre and Bloom’s Literature. First-time users need to visit the school library to receive log-in details.
Bloom’s access
Bloom’s Literature provides access to:
- More than 400 full-length videos of classic plays and films.
- Over 1,000 full-text classic works of literature.
- In-depth, full-text entries on literary movements, groups, periodicals, and historical events.
- More than 2,600 full-text poems.
Gale Literature
Gale Literature Resource Centre provides access to:
- More than 850,000 full text articles, non-fiction and fiction titles, essays, magazines, journals on many subjects.
- In depth biographies of over 135,000 authors.
- More than 8,500 interviews.
- Digitised primary source materials.
- A useful ‘how to cite’ feature with export to citation tools.
